Shoplifting?

I'm listening to "The Infinite Mind" radio program on shoplifting, and they're saying that "most people have shoplifted at some point" and "Everybody knows someone who has shoplifted, if they haven't done so themselves." That really surprises me. I would never do so myself and am surprised to find that I'm in the majority. Furthermore, I don't know of anyone in my acquaintance who has. I'm not saying that no one I know has shoplifted; just that I'm unaware of it. Points to my social naïvete, probably.

In the morning, of course, I'll probably remember some incident and have to take back this whole posting. Ah well.
