Saving throws
Feb. 24th, 2008 08:48 pmSometimes I think I'm a geek's geek: for example, I own several D&D books (2nd edition I think), and spent many hours as a teenager reading them, I know a lot of the lingo and read about the newer editions...but I've never actually played a game in my life. Is this sad?
Anyway, the concept of the saving throw tends to sneak into my everyday life, particularly when I'm standing in front of a vending machine full of candy or I'm at a restaurant: will I make a successful saving throw versus french fries, or not?
That is all. :)
