I'm trying to book a series of flights for next-next weekend (July 1st), and I've discovered something interesting: one-way flights aren't as ridiculously expensive as they used to be. In fact, I can put together a set of one-way flights that are cheaper than the round-trip flights I've found, by choosing the appropriate airlines (Delta and American).

I wonder when this happened...maybe Southwest started it? Other than increased suspicion on the part of the TSA, I'm wondering if there's something I'm missing here that makes this a bad idea.

Sigh, I hate booking airline tickets. God, get me out of the South.
