In memoriam

Robert Jordan has died. If my immediate reaction was "Will we ever know what happens at the end of the Wheel of Time series?", am I a terrible person? Perhaps that is the way one grieves for famous people one has never met before: grieving for the work they will no longer do, the ways that they will no longer touch us.
